How Brow Lift Works
Step 01.
A complete medical history, photo documentation, and examination will be done, along with an in-depth discussion of each patient’s concerns and goals to create a comprehensive treatment plan. This will include a discussion of recommended techniques, including incision location, expected results, costs, recovery time, and maintenance plan.
Step 02.
At EVOLV, all endoscopic brow lifts are performed in a fully accredited outpatient surgery center where experienced nurses, anesthesiologists, and specialized equipment are available. In the procedure, after anesthesia and prepping, 3 or 4 small incisions are made behind the hairline for access with the endoscope.
Step 03.
Construction of a comprehensive treatment plan that is specific to each patient’s goals, timing, budget, and downtime acceptability. This includes a pre-operative skin care preparation plan and post-operative maintenance recommendations to extend longevity and the value of results.
Step 04.
Using the endoscope and a monitor, the upper forehead and brow tissues are dissected, and overactive scowl muscles are reduced.
Step 05.
The upper forehead tissues and lateral brows are then released and repositioned and secured with anchoring sutures or other methods of fixation.
Step 06.
The small scalp incisions are closed with special staples to avoid hair loss; there are no visible incisions or scars on the forehead.
