How Hair Rejuvenation Works
Step 01.
As with all major aesthetic procedures at EVOLV Aesthetics, a workup for hair loss and treatment options involves a complete evaluation, family history, examination, discussion of goals, and creation of a personalized and comprehensive aesthetic plan. Photo documentation is important to help define the extent of damage, and help determine treatment options and response. Itemized costs and recovery time are reviewed as well.
Step 02.
After assessment and evaluation, each patient will be given a customized home and office program based on their stage and degree of hair thinning and loss. Optimal scalp health and nutrition are needed for the best outcomes with any treatment.
Step 03.
Patients are started on proven oral supplements Viviscal Pro or Nutrafol and a proprietary compounded topical Hair Restorative Solution (Prescribers Choice), or other topical growth factors (Kerafactor, Exosomes). Medical shampoo and conditioner with supporting scientifically validated studies are also available.
Step 04.
With the oral supplementation and topical programs, depending on age severity, and stage of thinning, most patients will start to notice less hair loss and improved hair quality within 6-8 weeks and then a slow and steady increase in new growth to follow.
The response may be more robust and significant with the PRP and Genius/Kerafactor treatments. The response must be individualized and is affected by age, heredity, and overall health and lifestyle.
Non-Invasive Rejuvenation Options:
– PRP therapy after a blood draw in the office, your PRP is harvested and injected into the thinning areas of the scalp. There are no dressings or recovery time. In some cases, stem cells with fat grafts (nano fat) are added.
– Infini Genius/Kerafactor This recently released and exciting option involves radio frequency micro-needling (Genius) with the application of a Kerafactor solution, a stem cell, and four growth factors specific for hair follicle stimulation.
– Red Light LED Photomodulation peer-reviewed clinical research reveals that light-emitting diodes (LED) can increase hair count, density, and thickness in men and women.
