How It Works
A cheek lift is less about tightening skin and more about repositioning what has shifted.
During surgery, Dr. Barone carefully elevates and repositions descended tissues of the midface to restore support and a more youthful contour through the cheeks. The surgical approach and incision placement are customized based on your anatomy, degree of aging, and whether your procedure is being combined with lower blepharoplasty or another facial surgery.
You may notice a change in cheek position right away, although swelling and bruising are expected during the early stages of recovery. As swelling gradually subsides and the tissues settle, the final contour becomes more apparent.
