How Breast Implant Replacement Works
Step 01.

If simultaneous breast lift and implant exchange are planned (augmentation mastopexy), the new implant is chosen and the mastopexy is performed. Long-acting pain blocks (Exparel) or a nerve stimulator to decrease post-operative discomfort are used. Incisions are closed with dissolvable internal sutures and dressings and bra applied.
Step 05.
You will return to the office in a few days after surgery for your first dressing change. You will see the visible improvements immediately and they will continue to get better as swelling and bruising subside. Post-operative therapeutic treatments with lymphatic massage, LED LightStim bed treatment, and other proven modalities will be available to reduce discomfort and downtime.
