As we head into the heart of the holiday season, that most special time of the year, it is the perfect time to reflect on our many blessings and seek ways to make life better for those around us. This is also that time of year when we all try to act a little nicer, smile a little easier, cheer a little more. This is that magical time and season when we strive to become the people that we always hoped we would be.
If only we could find a way, with grace and gratitude, to live these values and blessings throughout the year!
All of us at EVOLV Plastic Surgery and Medical Aesthetics hope that you all have much to look forward to on this holiday, whether you are spending time with your families or just enjoying the peace and quiet times of the season. We also want to recognize and support those in our family, friends and patients who may be struggling with emotions or the many challenges of work, family, finances, illness, or loneliness.

Throughout the years, the stoics have always viewed grace and gratitude as an ’emotional medicine’ and that just expressing and feeling a ’thank you’ for every experience was the key essential to optimal mental health and happiness. The great philosopher Marcus Aurelius suggested that we convince ourselves that everything is a gift from above, and that all things are good and always will be. We could not agree more.
