As 2021 draws to a close, now is typically the time when we all reflect on what we have learned from the past year and look forward to 2022 with hope, optimism, and resolve. We make New Year’s resolutions with the good intention of learning from our past and identifying specific ways to make real and lasting changes to improve our health, happiness, and quality of life.
For many of us, 2021 has had more challenges and difficulties than many other years in recent memory. COVID still impacts just about everyone, and economic stress and inflation, as well as political rancor and unrest, seem to be increasing and resulting in much anxiety and stress for everyone. So how do we find a hopeful and an optimistic path forward when there is such discord, challenge, and uncertainty all seemingly out of our control?
At EVOLV Plastic Surgery and Medical Aesthetics, we believe that working consistently and being dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients, co-workers, families, and friends gives us the opportunity to find some control in an uncontrollable world and hopefully lead to happiness and peace for all of us. We believe this is a very achievable goal and worthwhile resolution not just for this New Year, but for every year.
This commitment is based on 3 fundamental goals:

- Being committed to excellence and working to the best of our ability every day and for every patient
- Focusing on empathy and compassion to show every patient, co-worker, and friend how much we care
We understand that so many things in our lives are unpredictable and out of our control which can often lead to anxiety, stress, and unhealthy choices. As an aesthetic and plastic surgery practice dedicated to patient care, we believe that helping others by education and working to the best of our abilities, establishing trust by consistently doing the ‘right thing’ with honesty and transparency, and caring for each patient with empathy and compassion provide a very controllable opportunity and path towards the happiness and the peace of mind that we all seek.
