We’re Back… We’re Better… and We Missed You!
Long-term human relationships, contact, and patient care have always formed the core of our medical practice at EVOLV Plastic Surgery and Medical Aesthetics. These fundamentals and concerns will not change as we adjust to the post-COVID-19 realities for patient and staff safety and in fact, will become an even greater priority. We want to ensure everyone that our entire EVOLV staff have been working very hard and every day updating and developing safety protocols, adjustments, and planning with CDC and State of Ohio recommended guidelines to provide an optimally safe and confident experience at EVOLV moving forward.
What we have been doing?
The past 6 weeks of limited and essential services have been a very busy time at EVOLV. Here’s some of what we have been up to:
Staff Educational Development
With office hours limited to essential services, all staff has been attending training webinars on a variety of exciting topics in their professional areas of interest. Ongoing education is one of the most important priorities at EVOLV. The nursing, aesthetician, and administrative staff have completed a number of updated educational and training webinars which will be essential in improving our patient treatment programs and efficient office function. In addition to ongoing patient care, Drs Barone and Koltz have also been participating in teaching and educational conferences concerning COVID-19 related safety issues, CDC recommendations, and new surgical and non-invasive technologies and products in aesthetics.
COVID-19 Related Adjustments & Protocols
At EVOLV Plastic Surgery & Medical Aesthetics our first and most important priority remains the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and families. In order to maintain complete transparency during this challenging and rapidly changing time, we have been busy monitoring breaking developments as well as developing and implementing updated policies and procedures based on the latest recommendations from the CDC and State of Ohio. These protocols involve a large number of areas including minimizing points of contact, sanitation precautions, personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff and patients, new pre-screening protocols, prioritization of appointments, aesthetic retail policies, virtual and online consultation options, and much more. Please refer to the EVOLV website at https://evolvmedicalaesthetics.com/office-policy-updates-due-to-covid-19/ for a complete description and explanation of these important updates and precautions for patient and staff safety. Our goal as always is to provide a safe, secure, and confident experience for everyone.
We have all been struggling for the past few months with COVID-19 and expect the challenges to continue. But we also believe that the hardship and uncertainties of the pandemic have exposed areas of weakness or that need attention and improvement and have therefore given us an opportunity to address them and grow stronger and more focused in the process.
One thing that the crisis has not changed is our belief and mission in developing safe and effective long-term programs for our patients that improve happiness and quality of life. All of us at EVOLV value these relationships and we will renew our focus and efforts to provide confidence and these benefits for every patient.
We believe these efforts and adjustments have made us better as professionals, as a practice and as friends who look out for one another. We have missed all of you and look forward to resuming old friendships as well as creating new ones.
We hope to see you all soon!
