These products are specially made for specific areas of the face and specific concerns. When injected by one of our highly trained EVOLV providers, Restylane provides a youthful appearance and balance without anyone noticing that you’ve had “work done.” Hylauronic ‘dermal fillers’ are approved by the FDA for specific uses in people aged 22 years and older.

How Galderma Restylane Fillers Work
Step 1.
Every procedure we offer at EVOLV Plastic Surgery begins with a consultation to ensure you’re a good candidate and the type of dermal filler you’re interested in is right for your unique concerns and anatomy. After a consultation, we can schedule a day for your custom treatment plan.
Step 2.
During the procedure itself, we offer numbing anesthetic cream to make the experience comfortable, although even without it, dermal filler injections are well-tolerated.
Step 3.
Your provider will make several injections throughout the treatment area(s) to achieve a subtle yet noticeable change to your skin or facial contour. The number of injections and amount of filler needed varies by patient and extent of the procedure.
Step 4.
Once we’ve finished injecting the filler, we will send you on your way with detailed aftercare instructions, including when to come back for touch-up treatment and/or “after” photos.
Hyaluronic Fillers
Galderma’s dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic sugar, which is found naturally throughout the skin but decreases as a side effect of aging. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water, helping to provide a plump, youthful appearance to the skin. As levels of hyaluronic acid and other important skin proteins like collagen diminish with age and sun damage, the skin loses volume and develops wrinkles and folds. Restylane fillers supplement the missing hyaluronic acid, providing a natural solution to these signs of aging.
Results and Recovery
The results of your filler injection will be noticeable immediately, although there will be slight swelling in the treated area that will diminish in several days. Over time, the filler will settle and soften in your skin, creating the natural look you expect with Restylane treatments.
Recovery is minimal following a dermal filler injection and can be improved by immediately applying a cold compress and elevating the treatment area. We ask that patients avoid rubbing or pressing on the treated area for at least 48 hours, and avoid the sun or use sun protection as needed. There’s no need for bedrest or downtime, so most patients get on with the rest of their day if they don’t mind their slightly swollen or red appearance.
