Restylane® Defyne is a non-surgical facial rejuvenation dermal filler created for moderate to severe smile lines. Using hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring building structure in healthy skin, Defyne is different with a thicker consistency than its sister products, such as Restylane® Refyne.

How does Restylane® Defyne work?

Since Defyne has a thicker consistency of hyaluronic acid, it helps correct more severe nasolabial folds and marionette lines due to volume loss. Defyne can also improve the appearance of lines that run from the mouth to the chin, making it a lower face rejuvenation treatment. What can I expect with Restylane® Defyne?

During your Restylane Defyne treatment, you can expect detailed information about your treatment and what results you’re going to expect. Since it is a non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment, Defyne will be performed in the office.

After your treatment, you can expect some mild swelling and redness near the injection sites. Side effects are generally mild and subside within one week. Ice packs may be helpful in reducing these symptoms. Most patients are satisfied with their results right after treatment, and results can last up to 12 months!
